Your digital camera may be saving your pictures with filenames like these:
- PICT0001.JPG
- PICT0002.JPG
- PICT0003.JPG
- PICT0004.JPG
- PICT0005.JPG
- Etc...

To give them unique filenames. In the "Settings" tab, select how you want them named...
- Date Picture Taken [EXIF Tag]
- Date Originally Created [EXIF Tag]
- Date Created (File)
- Date Modified (File)
You can even add a Prefix and a Suffix to the pictures to customize the naming even more.
You can optionally Move your pictures into directories created by:

In the Pictures tab.
- Select a directory using the Browse button.
- Select the ones in the directory list you wish to rename.
- Then click the "Rename" button...

You have UNIQUE file names for each JPG.
- Now you can even put them in the same directory with your thousands of other pictures without fear of file name conflicts.
